Online therapy (also known as telehealth or virtual therapy) takes place over the internet instead of in person.
It’s not for everyone, but lots of people like the convenience of joining from home or work without having to travel. Research indicates that online therapy is as effective as in-person treatment.

Everyone’s plan is different. Check your insurance plan’s “explanation of benefits” or “summary plan description” for details about mental health coverage. If you don’t have that information, your best option is to call your plan directly using the number of the back of your insurance card.

I prefer to meet weekly at least to start. Building trust and rapport early on is critical, and more frequent sessions in the beginning promote continuity and enable us to address issues and challenges while they’re still fresh in your mind.
That said, I understand people have different needs and budgets, so we can talk about what’s best for you.Item description
