Online therapy (also known as telehealth or virtual therapy) takes place over the internet instead of in person.
It’s not for everyone, but lots of people like the convenience of joining from home or work without having to travel. Research indicates that online therapy is as effective as in-person treatment.

YES — I am accepting new clients.
Please message me with your insurance plan information and the state where you would access therapy. (I’m licensed in Michigan & New York, so you would have to join sessions from either of those states.)
-
Yes — I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is an opportunity to see if we’re a good fit and for you to ask questions.

Yes! I don’t work with EAPs but am in network with these providers:
NEW YORK: Aetna, Anthem BCBS (formerly Empire), BCBS of Massachusetts (if in NY), Carelon Behavioral Health (limited plans only), Cigna, United Healthcare, United Medical Resources, Oxford, Oscar, and Optum.
MICHIGAN: Aetna, BCBS of MI PPO & HMO, Blue Care Network, Carelon Behavioral Health (limited plans only), Quest Behavioral Health, Cigna, United Healthcare, United Medical Resources, Optum, Oxford, and Oscar.
Please double check insurance when scheduling an initial appointment. The billing platforms I use provide estimates only.
If I'm not in network with your plan but you have out-of-network benefits, I can give you a "superbill" to submit for reimbursement.

Generally, 9am - 5:30pm and as late as 7:30pm.

I’ll do my best to respect your time, so please be mindful of mine.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time to avoid a late cancellation/”no-show” fee of $45.

Everyone’s plan is different. Check your insurance plan’s “explanation of benefits” or “summary plan description” for details about mental health coverage. Otherwise, your best option is to call the number of the back of your insurance card.

$150 per 55-minute session.

I prefer to meet weekly at least to start. Building trust and rapport early on is critical; more frequent sessions in the beginning promote continuity, deeper exploration, and consistent support.
That said, I understand people have different needs and budgets, so we can talk about what’s best for you.
